I miss:



Holding hands in the swing while the Bob Whites call,

A dinner companion (an item so small),

Brief passing touches that show me love reigns,

A kiss on my hurts that takes away pain.

Someone to talk to about everyday life,

A shoulder to cry on when surrounded by strife,

A heart just like mine who accepts the attention,

Hugs and soft touches, and stuff I won't mention,

A pal who would take me to a movie to see,

One friend and companion who will love only me,

Caresses and sighs as we pass one another,

Confidante, soul-mate, advisor, and lover,

Everyday quiet and everyday ease,

Someone to love and cherish and please,

One soul who would take all the love that I give,

And exchange it for his for as long as we live,

A man who is strong in his own confidence,

One who loves God and believes in good sense,

A nurturer who would allow me to pet

And give him as much love as I'd surely get,

This order is big and I really don't know,

If it CAN be filled, but I'm praying it's so.
