I had a flat.

Gave out of gas,

Developed migraine--

Thank God, it passed!

I lost my keys,

We worked 'til nine,

I couldn't call--

Didn't have the time!

Sorry I'm late,

The truck broke down,

A traffic jam

In the middle of town,

My Grandpa died,

My dog got hit,

I broke a tooth

On a steak I bit.

I fell asleep.

I plumb forgot!
