I don't want you to get too close-

telling me what you like the most

saying you wanna be there for me

Boy just say that you'll support me

And I, I can take care of my heart.

Cause I don't want you to understand

You say that you're a simple man

but i'm a complicated girl oh,

Sometimes thinking if only he knew though'

What goes through this mind of mine'

when you're making your touch last a life time

Well i'm not sure i want it to-

I don't want what I could lose from you.

I gave everything before

For him to run out of that door

So walk beside me

Or above me

But please don't try and love me.
