For longer than i know,

And sadly for my tears,

I have nothing else to show.

I sit alone and think of nights

Where you might hear my call,

And choose again to love me here,

Or hold me just once more-

I want to stop and turn away

Each time you try and kiss me,

To reject an advance, just this once-

In the hope,
