There is nothing here that's new to me
Nothing here that's due to me
Still I linger on
There is nothing that I can say
Because the words have flown away
Into the darkness
Of an ever expanding universe
Hidden inside a multiverse
Of our thoughts and feelings
Trapped
Inside this reality
Facing our own mortality
Afraid of new beginnings

I don't know what we're doing here
I don't know why we live in fear
Of the world around us
I don't know what we hope to find
When we stop to look behind

I may not have a lot to do
But I don't claim to know the truth
About lifes missgivings
They know not what we'll do today
