I look at him with two bright eyes

And search for love in his

Instead I see the lies he hides

Of what he really is



I suck the truth deep in my soul

And forget this agony

I love myself so he does not

But now the lie is in me

Just in case for those who don't understand this poem, it's about a girl who loved a guy so much that even though she knew he didn't love her, she convinced herself that he DID love her... make sense??

I understood the story quite well after reading it. It was well done and the title has a perfect fit to summarize the descriptions you provided. Excellent piece my friend!!!
