like an animal locked in a cage
lashing out as if crazied
walking around in a vicious daze
spilling lies
breaking all ties
breaking hearts
tearing her world apart
lost in the dark
like a child left behind at the park
forgotten by all or so thinks
she's on the brink
but she doesn't see
that the one standing there is me
reaching out to her
calling out to her
waiting for her
trying to help her deal
wish I could take away all she feels
hoping she would open up and spill
everything that she will
she needs help, as she screams and fights
I'm hoping she just might
let someone in
and let them help her win
this dangerous battle she's in
