If you had never loved me

where would I be

how would I feel

what path would I lead.



Would I be the same person

and love the same things

would I cherish the beauty

that each new day brings.



Would I still stand up to foes

and stand up for friends

would I play my own game

right from start to the end.



I would still make mistakes

but would I still feel regrets

for the things I have done

and things I haven'y chanced yet.



Would you see that I try

to do the best that I can

and through the person you are

i'm your number one fan.



But I guess this doesn't matter

because you love me it's true

so these answers aren't needed

just the fact I love you.
