Pretty picture perfect girl
looking in her mirror,
smiling in her vanity
confident and with no fear.
This is what the people see
as they all pass her by,
not realizing the price she paid
that she almost did die.
Her confidence is all a lie
anti-depressants make her smile,
wishing that she could have died
as life's minutes all feel like miles.
Deadly thoughts run through her mind
convinced that she's not good enough,
one cut and this would quickly end
this life is simply much to tough.
