Rock Bottom/Best Intent

You gave it all away

with best intent I heard you say

and while your broken on the floor

your wondering if there's something more

then this stupid burnout life

that only serves us pain and strife

but this isn't something new

your screwed no matter what you do.

Hit rock bottom, fade away

save this for another day

sit yourself back and watch you suffer

take this concept or the other

neither preffered, what can you do

I guess this isn't nothing new

where are you going on from here

do you have guts, or is it fear

not like it really matters now

you think you'll fix this mess somehow.

But you are lost and this is done

and in the end noone has won

didn't have to be this way

until you gave it all away.

Okay, reading all your poetry.. it sounds like EVERY poem you write is about one of those guys. Whether it be this Hartley guy whom I don't know or.. um.. okay, that's the only one I know. But it seems like EVERY single poem is about them, and it gets quite old. Granted, you have the cool lines every once in a while, but all in all it's the same thing over and over. Not that I'm one to complain, my poems ain't on opposite ends of the spectrum, but.. maybe you could write about macaroons or something. Just.. something else. Without sounding preachy, of course.
