I could say i wanted peace

but there will always be a war

I don't see how it matters

they don't know what they're fighting for.



I could say i wanted love

but love is just as blind as i

when everyone is petty

they can't help but say goodbye.



I could say i wanted hope

but not much ever comes my way

if I can't even trust

there's not much else that I can say.
