If you can be away from someone for years and the love revives itself tragedy after tragedy, hurdle after hurdle, nothing anyone says, does, or tries to do really can change that bond. I know women who have had relationships with death row inmates for 20 years and longer, never cheated, and they have learned to love in a way that goes unnoticed by society. They have been through vilification, slander, and the objectification of malicious intent by people who do not even know them, or have mever met them. They live day to day, loving for love's sake.  They know what love is more than the average person...because it is the from the wellspring of love within themselves that they draw from, fueled by a faith...a belief... sometimes it is a god, sometimes not. Sometimes it is...just love. (The real kind, long forgotten in today's busy world of Valentine's Day gifts and $35,000.00 weddings.)

And some times they do silly things like 'go suck an egg' to make sure they are still one of the fortunate people to have been chosen on this earth to know what love really is.... (and isn't! LOL--it isn't an egg!)
