As I wait

Only time will tell my fate

As I grow more alone as of late

Many days trapped in this place

With a need to get out of this small space

Spending hours alone with no other face

At rock bottom I don’t know what else to do

Wondering if there is another way through

Even when I am blue

I smile when I think of you

And I have reason to live another day

To live my future and see what may

In hopes that it will not be so grey

And I will not be fates prey

I will not give up and I will never go away

I am here now and I am here to stay

Until you give up on me

It is only with you that I want to be
