How much more of this can I take?

How much longer can I last?

Why does it always have to be this way?

How come I never get nothing back?



How much longer can I fake,

This awkward smile that goes so fast?

Why does it always end the same?

How come my world is always black?



I can't take it, The way she laughs and the way she smiles,

I won't make it, I keep living this denial,

Why does she have to fake it, I only want her to love me,

I can't say it, but I know I can't sweep her off her feet.



How much time do I have to waste?

All these feelings, feel so bad,

When will I finally catch a break?

Why won't she just make me glad?



My heart's on the floor, on the floor it stays,

I need a hand to hold, but it's something I always lack,

How come I can't have just one magic day?

How come my heart is drained on this tragic path?
