what sorrow have i begun?

what worlds can keep us apart?

dearest love,

today i push down the sun

and broken is the condition of my heart.

yesterday held so many promises

today i hold them strong

but tomorrow, i sense in my heart,

those promises will be gone.

dearest love,

do you remember the words 'i love you'?

how heavy they can be when tossed so quickly.

i crush under the pressence of you keeping those words true.

have you forgotten my name?

doves sent you my word long ago,

and yet, i still await a response

i touch the places in my heart i keep for you

those places will never be the same.

i wait endless nights for you in my sleep,

can you hear my wispers, calling out for you in the darkness?

it has been so long

i am growing weak
