The Water's Edge

The water's edge

gliding lights around its fingers

charmed creatures beneath its serene appearance

The waves welcomed by the shore

innocent kisses on the earth

to touch Gaea's face

Now, to me, this is just brilliant..so short, yet so piercing in its images and ideas...the use of the "gaia" myth (being that there is life in the essence of the earth) instead of simply saying "earth"...well...very genuine. I enjoyed this one very much, as with the others by you I have read.
