The 11th of September
We will forever remember
It was a day without rain
But a day full of pain
Many innocent people, now dead
Left the world with words unsaid
Tower One was hit first
People jumped from high floors, head first
Knowing they were going to die
They still jumped from way up high
Friends and family watched in horror
As their friend or relative would live no more
September 11th, many people went to work
Not knowing what would lurk
Some called in sick for a day off
in relief, they felt better off.
