I took a step up

Before I erupt

Then I walked foreward

And you I was going toward



It wasnt working

Bad futures were lurking

I sat and I cried

In front of you my heart lied



Just when noting seemed right

I prayed to God one night

In my heart something lacked

So I asked him for you back



Just when I start to cope

And give up all hope

You walked down

And removed the tear from my frown

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I wrote this poem the night before my love asked me to go back out with him. We started talking and I hoped that we could at least become friends, what I didnt know was that we were still in love and then we became more than friends all over again.
