She loves the boy she just lost
So long they were together
So much they shared
She's thankful he still talks to her
He still smiles at her
And shows her he cares
She thinks of her recent mistake
And wonders how she could have
Hurt him like she did
She loves him more than life
And yet she can't let him know
Alone in her room she cries
Over memories of them together
Other guys she could have
If only she gave them a thought
But no other guy does she want
Her arms ache to hold him
Her heart longs to tell him
She cries thinking about him
And the tender heart that she broke
This time will be the end
She's out of chances
He's giving up on them
And moving on without her
