BLUSHING BELLADONNA

(for Milady's)

Blushing Belladonna

with your sweet embrace

how do I compete

with your delicate display?

I'll dress in fragrant petals

of silk and lace

I'll wear a crown of blossoms

and a smile upon my face

Yet still I have no power

your lustre to deny

I am but a human flower:

please marvel at my try!

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote a collection of poetry for "Milady's"; for a fashion show ... this poem was the "entrance" poem

Dear Myra I like this one. Flowing garments in silky motion, lace and the fragrance of perfumed potions - wrapped in flowers, it makes for poetry and fashion in motion... Regards Donkerman
