I'm so confused...... lost
you said you would be there
lift me up, unburden this heart of mine
in my deepest despair I reach for you
my days are oh..... so dark
you said you would be there forever
tortured cries deep within
my life so oblique
mind racing.......never stopping
I thought you said you would be there
Im on the outside looking in
wrenched heart, bruised soul
if this is real I dont want to know......hush

Jo-anne Just like you we all have "friends" we write poems for - and so do I. reading this poem it took me back to my own promises and what I was promised too. Only of one thing can we be certain - that life will always will always be uncertain... In many ways it is wonderful too, for we will never know what is on the other side of the hill unless we go there! Regards Donkerman
