We just sit around together

Listening to the radio

They seem to be against us

Cause every song they play reminds us that you have to leave

You tell me that you'll be back



Lets turn off the radio

And break all the clocks

Then we won't know when you have to leave

And you can just stay forever



Now you're gone again

And I'm wishing you were here

When will I see you next?

I keep thinking the answer is never

But you keep telling me that you'll be back

When I woke up this morning

I thought that I was in a dream

Because when I opened my eyes you were laying next to me



We can listen to the radio now

And we hear the songs that once made us cry

Now we just look at each other and smile

Maybe our songs will do the same

To others as those songs did to us



Turn the radio back on

(it cant hurt us anymore)

Be sure all the clocks work

(I want to see all the time we are together)

I don't want this ever to change

(lets just stay this way)
