Heavens Precious Angel

As we sit and wipe away the tears rolling from our eyes
That special bond we shared my sweetheart will never ever die.

For when we first set eyes on you, our hearts just burst with pride
And although you may not be here now that pride we will never hide.

It seems to us our beautiful daughter that you were to perfect for this world by far
The angels had called for you to become the brightest star.

As you took your final breath, we prayed with everything we had for your tiny heart to beat again
We pleaded with the angels for your place with us to remain.

Your spirit had been set free, your body was left to rest
We are left standing here to face life’s biggest test.

So tonight and every night we will look out to the stars
And ask the angels once again ‘Why you it’s just not fair?

We know that when things get tough or we are feeling sad
That all we need to do is wipe away our tears and hold out our hand

We know that where ever you maybe you reach out to us to
And once again our hearts unite and your love will guide us through
