Im alone
Im by myself and cold
As I stand beside myself
Im stuck behind myself

Im blocking happiness like a plague
Im a loveless renegade
Im a heartless sunshine looking for shade
Hiding from myself
So no one has me as a burden to bare
a flower that’s rare
My breaking point of non existence is near
So I stare
And I tear
Thru passages of blackness
With no one near enough to hear
My cries for help
My cries for arms that long for me near
They don’t exist
Im pressed behind clouds of mist
And im pissed
So I insist to permit
Love to present itself as a gift
It’s a myth
