La Dolce Vita

Poems 2005

Am I really as sweet as you claim?
Or are you tiring to fool yourself into a false sense of epiphany
hoping to lure me to follow?
I always figured I was a bit saltier then your fingertips.

Here, allow me to answer your cell-phone for you.
I'll gladly inform your friends you cannot hear them from between my thighs.

You'll have to try a bit harder, Baby --

I can't remember ever being the type to be persuaded by gentle caresses.
Make me feel what you do to me
nd don't forget to claim what could be yours.

Let's see you put those sharp little teeth to good use,
Now shall we?

"tell me if I hurt you."

You could only cause me pain by turning the other cheek
and refusing to finish what you have set into motion.
Let's dance the night away
to the melody of squeaky springs
and the rhythm of our hips.

You always tasted like young wine and honey.
So this is La Dolce Vita
I knew I'd sample it eventually
I just didn't know it'd be on your tongue.
