Cruising up and down the hills

Rows of cornfields surrounding my view

Ahead a stop sign awakens my day dream

Slowing to a stop I glance in the rearview

Behind me are the miles of road I've left behind

Road blocks

Speed bumps

Signals

and Gravel roads 

They all remain in my past and have made my trip what it is now

A stop at a sign with three ways to go

Each route has it's own path

Each route has its own set of

Signals

and Gravel Roads

Deciding on my destination,

I continue forward, easing off the brakes giving the ol' rusty a little gas

Content with the cornfields and the road ahead

I'll continue onward, head held high.
