There was a time where all the great glaciers melt, where all the trees and plants dried up and the bays, lagoons and even the open sea was almost gone. There were only three animals left, the polar bear, the beaver, and the turtle. There was only a small remaining piece of land for the ones left, and despite the fact that they were close to each other, they still preferred to get in touch by Facebook. One day they started to chat and after a while, they realized that everything was almost gone and that they should do something in order to survive. The world was in their hands, well in their paws. The tiger decided they should divide their tasks in order to save the world faster. The polar bear was supposed to freeze the water left in order to create more glaciers. The tiger was supposed to plant trees in order to reforest all the jungle and the beaver’s task was to collect branches of trees to build a dam.

The next day the beaver, with its pessimism, sent them an inbox, “The task is impossible and I don’t think I’ll be able to do it”, the beaver said. But after a while, the tiger convinced him by saying that it was the best for everyone and it was worth the try, so he made the beaver and the polar bear swear that they would do their task no matter what, no matter how. And so they did. Each time the tiger had planted a tree, the beaver came out and cut it with its sharp teeth and ran quickly with the wood to build the dam, but they never see each other. The tiger spent the whole time thinking that their crops had never grown, and eventually at the third week, the tiger died of depression. However, neither the beaver nor the polar bear knew that. During that time, the polar bear decided to hibernate, and during that time several storms increased and the dam was completely filled with water. After a few days, the polar bear woke up and remembered the task he had been assigned before and in his mind he recalled the phrase of the tiger “Do your task no matter what, no matter how” and after seeing the huge amount of water that had fallen because of the storms, he decided to freeze everything, along with the beaver which was nearby. “I did it!”, screamed the polar bear and immediately tried to contact the tiger and the beaver through Facebook, but after seeing that the inbox was never seen by the rest of the team, he decided to look for them. To his surprise, he found out that the tiger was rotten and the beaver completely frozen. He thought everything was his fault that he died of a heart attack. And so the species on Earth disappeared forever. If only they had communicated face to face and effectively, it would have been a different story.
