Yes HealingWoman, there are two meanings to what I wrote - the first is the real one and the second is just for sake of playing with poetry.
The real reason was I am frustrated with the company I work for... The President does not know that my boss (VP) is a jerk and have been feeding him with lies. The P never asks me !!! My VP doesnt communicate with me and has no directions at all. Simply tells me to do at the last moment what the P gave him 2 weeks ago. I wish the P could just ask me. This should explain.
"I cannot tell" could also mean I couldn't tell right from wrong, couldn't tell if I should or should not say
"I am not asked" - if I am not asked, there should be no questions for me
"Please give me a chance to tell you" - dying to talk, feeling lonely, looking for people who are concerned

Thanks for sharing! I had a similar/or not so similar kind of experience at work yesterday. It was a micro managing issue for me. Dang it knocked me off my rocker for a while. Write on, brother....
