Soulmate's Call

She stands in the field

Wind blowing her hair

She's holding an object

But nobody cares

Except for one

He cares with his soul

And comforting her

Is his only goal

For she holds her heart

Which lay broken in two

Her lover left her

But he was the fool

He thought he was too good

Boy was he wrong

For this is the girl I love

And for whom I long

Her eyes blue as the sky

Her hair shines gold

She's perfect in all ways

Her broken heart she holds

She's saddened by the loss

So I help ease the pain

And as she looks up

It begins to rain

This worsens her condition

And makes her cry out

I hold her close

But she continues to pout

I want her to stop

To look in my face

To see I'd treat her right

And choose me in his place

Then she looked up

And into my eyes

I try suppressing my feelings

But they're impossible to hide

She embraces me

I hold her tight

And our touch is blessed

By heavens holy light

The rain had stopped

The clouds, gone

The birds started chirping

Singing their song

I could see her inner turmoil

But her body was resolved

I saw in her eyes

That she knew she was loved

I wiped tears from her face

And she smiled at me

We knew it right then

That it was meant to be

To be by her side then

Was what I desired most

We walked down the path

With our hands held close
