WORTH

Could you but stand upon this earth,

This spot of ground that's given birth

To the words the poets bring

Then you'd hear the song they sing.

You'd hear the song but would you know

The questions they but tried to show

Within the meaning of their verse

Of what fell from their life's purse?

So stand and hold the poet's rhyme

For more than just a moments time

And try to understand the worth

Of standing here upon the earth.

Brilliant!!! So true....it's the simple, yet most profound thoughts that we so often overlook in this hectic life....thanks for giving us some beautiful thoughts to ponder. :)
