I Fear The Best That I Have Done

Upon the streets I walk

In observation

Gazing at unreturned glances

Silently wishing them

A very good day.

There have been a few

Who nodded

And fewer still

Who've smiled.

Yet I've traveled on

In observation

And as I've walked

I've realized

That none know this observer

That no one knows

I fear the best that I have done.

You shouldn't fear the best you've done, for it is simply outstanding writing! :)
