A Great Season
It was a great season,
Every announcer having their own reason,
Saying the Jets would come in last
Because of Chad Pennington's recent past,
Of not being able to play a whole year,
Nevertheless true fans had no fear.
After beating the mighty Pats in Foxboro week ten,
The season was kicked into gear when,
They found themselves in the thick of contention,
Baffling the "experts" beyond comprehension.
They found themselves staring playoff glory in the face,
With three more wins giving them their place,
In the Afc playoffs as the wild card team
And a chance to fulfill all of their dreams.
Their dreams were shot down when losing to the Pats,
But the future is bright, and that's a fact.
The loss hurts, but lets not forget,
There's always next season, J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!
