I’m a virgin in the physical,
but I’ve given my heart
to numerous men.

I wantonly open my mind
and spread out my feelings
to these strangers.

I’ve let them into the depths
of my soul even though
they never ventured there.

I threw away my innocence
by entrusting my emotions
to men who did not earn it.

I compromised my purity
by thinking that my body
was the only treasure I had.
