Wholly Yours

God (Inspired by)

My heart is divided
among these worldly things,
these selfish pursuits.

There is a separation
between us
that was built by sin;
our intimate relationship
has been severed.

The gravity of sin
has pulled us apart,
the magnet-tude
of this estrangement
tears me to pieces.

You only get
a fraction of me…
a fraction of my time,
a fraction of my life,
a fraction of my heart.

I want to belong to You
every part of me.

I want to be holy,
wholly yours.
