God (Inspired by)

You are the hurricane

that swirls in us,

that stirs us

reorganizing the chaos

in our lives

by first creating disaster

before restoring peace.

You are the eye of the storm,

the central calm

in the midst of the confusion.

My heart is at rest.

When you tear down my walls

and everything in this life

blows away,

I am left with only You.

And Iā€™d rather have just You

than everything else.
