Naisoi's a dedicated servant
Despite her age, ten years now.
She wakes at cockrow
To prepare breakfast for the family
Tea and bread for employer
Uji for the children
Warm and pack their lunch
Before as one the family drive off.
Take the baby on her back
Rocking the pram when she cries
Crooning little-learnt lullabies
Filthy plates and things to clean
Smelly nappies all to wash
Takes alot playing mother at day
When children her age
Are learning at school for free.
In the eve she sleeps late
Than everyone else
Doing all that memsab gives.
Naisoi`s job is quite a load
But innocently she abides by the rule
And she makes no grouse
On a paypacket her poor mama takes.
