are so diaphanous

and impure.

If I could see you

..today

I know

I'd fall for you

..again.

If I could have one day

to think

of someone else

to let my mind drift

somewhere new

I know that it wouldn't

I know it would refuse

And could I have

Just one night

where I don't break

in my sleep?

I beg you this

I beg you

Please?

Author's Notes/Comments: 

This poem was written early 2005 about a boy, who to this day, regardless of my hatred towards him at times, remains in my heart still.

You know.. guys tend to do that. You might hate them with all your heart.. yet you still love them. Be strong and find the RIGHT one for you. Not because you're used to loving them. Great poem

Woah, desperate yet so calm. Interesting mix Mel.

The poem was great how You seemed to be assured of yorur wish to him, but then feel the urge to give in to him. It kind of (in a good way) shows how much this boy means to you. Enough to allow him another night, even know you dont even like him
