Fight By Our Sides

Come along Mr. President,

Won't you join in our victory song?

We're here by your consent,

To right all the wrong.

We flew thousands of miles,

Raided homes and frightened children.

Endured bullets and bloody trials,

But for you we'd do it again.

Yes, so you can stand tall,

Against the opposing few.

The USA doesn't fall,

It's more than a solier or two.

So relax in that cushioned chair,

Behind your solid oak desk.

We'll endure the bombs of terror,

We wouldn't want your life at risk.

But jump in and find the tune,

For fallen or not, we've all came through.

Sing loudly that this war will end soon,

That's the least you could do.
