Beauty Lives in Her Eyes

Beauty lives safely in one place,

 Her eyes are the address,

So beautiful they are to look at,

 Reminding us of Elizabeth Bennet.

Only a few are blessed,

With eyes so wonderful and sacred,

A thousand nights will look nothing,

To spend evoking the beauty that her eyes bring.

Her eyes are the precious well of beauty,
In which I would love to descend for eternity.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Eyes are such a wonderful

Eyes are such a wonderful feature of human physiology. When we look in the eyes we see so very much. Pictures can deceive sometimes when they are touched up with computer graphics and all the gadgets of today. I love natural photos. They are more true to real life and say so much more. Nice poem about eyes. ....my favorite human feature.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Congrats on your 150th post

Congrats on your 150th post.Ah ! the painting and picturisation of characters in the mind's eye by writers.I specially enjoy your writes coz they're short & less time consuming & you don't show off difficult vocubulary which people steal/borrow from internet.I suggest you use larger, colourful & different fonts. It'll accentuate your talented writing.
