The lesson of being wise,
Yet it was too late for him,
To retrieve the golden past!
A hater of humankind he turned into,
Began to live alone in a secluded place,
Far from the madding crowd,
Far from hypocrisy, deceit and selfishness!
Kindness, love and charity Timon used to scatter,
In utter need, he scarcely got anything from others!
