Sun shines on flowers,

Tall redwoods stand,

Early autumn breezes,

Ploughing dunes in the sand,



Hearing the waves crashing,

A thundering chorus,

Nesting birds cuddle,

In a beautiful forest,



Eagles perched high,

Deep crystalline water,

In a parent's eyes,

An innocent daughter,



Nothing lasts forever

Everything fades with time

So many things that are beautiful,

However not many sublime,



Unlike a deep flowing friendship,

Going past looks all alone,

As time erodes physical beauty,

Revealing a beauty it's own,



That's where true friendship is shown.
