But no one can erase what I did that day,
Trust me when I say no one can take this love away,
I know under the mask there's black and blue,
I see what they did to you,
Heart beating so fast,
I see right through,
to your brokenness,
Like shattered glass.
I know all you can see is darkness,
But please hold fast,
I will never leave you,
For my love will always surpass,
All that they did to you,
So please don't turn away from me,
I can't let you go, you see?
My love for you never changes,
Not once through the all the ages,
My love is holding you together,
It's taking away all that they did,
So just remember,
I'm closer than you know,
And even though,
All you can see is what they did to you,
I will never ever let you go,
And even though all you see is darkness,
I'm closer than you know,
And my light is here to show you,
your not alone.
