you think too much

you believe in nothing

yet somehow you're sure

the past is here

to get you again

another day like this is ending

and maybe i'm stretched thin on patience

we're living with jayded hearts

and playing with broken parts

its easy to mess up one day

its easier to give up before its started

if your looking for where the truth lies

you ll never find it if you close your mind

cant believe it when you say you've tried

surely the effort has been altered by time

but if you choose to see me as them

then its guarenteed you're to be denied
