i tripped

and fell forever

till i learned how to float

i thought it was with your help,

but now i'm afraid of a ghost

i see in your mirrors,

that are looking through me

when all i need is your soft eyes,

not coal and craters



a kind landing

like a parachuting gun

like a nuclear bomb

in my fields-in my arms

you slip away

i'm vaporized

it felt like forever

then just like sleep apnea

stuck in a moment that couldn't be helped

and now i'm afraid of more rest

bubbling brook in me(ah, it's such a thin line)

not mount saint helens



or these lost controls near equator

this bermuda triangle

between your peaceful fingers

is that victory?
