Be it smart, gifted, intelligent

Anything to get someone to notice me

I'm just boring, lame, and articulate

I want people to see from a distance

That I'm more than what I appear to be

Anything to get people to notice me

Who cares for a girl that writes poetry

That won't get people to notice me

I've mastered the art of invisibilty

Maybe that they'll find quite interesting

Give me soft round eyes and shapely thighs

And a name that speaks of beauty

I'd like a crowd that everyone talks about

And a friend that knows the word loyalty

I don't think I'm asking for eternity

I just want somebody to notice me
