Tis America

Folder:
1998 - 2010

American pride is motivated by fear

Manipulated by the dictor we have yet to overthrow

Lies pushed into our heads

Into our children's heads

Its a conspiracy and we're helpless

Chained to the freedom that's been forced on us

People are afraid to be themselves

To stand up for themselves

Be Someone different

People bit off your head if you say

Something different

And when they see something wrong

They won't tell anyone else

Then they get on me for doin the right thing

Cause I've got guts for havin my say

In this land of the free and home of the brave

We give money to the foreign killers

And prisoners live the life of luxury

Kids droppin out and livin on the streets

Seelin drugs, makin love for a cheap price

(How Nice)

And kids killin kids cause people not reachin out

And seein what the chaos is really about

They have a chance

But ignore it without a second glance

Guns in every other household

Put there to keep you warm

But they'll make you cold

And ignorant devotion

In this wonderful land between two oceans

With neighbors to our north and a few down douth

Yet we're so isolated to the reality that sits

Infront of us

LOOK AT US

Clingin onto freedom that we don't have

Never had

It's too sad

Fathers rapin daughters

Throwin blows at their wife

Hatred never seems to die

Teens reachin for the sky

Screamin "I need a new life! Help Me!"

Crisis after Crisis

So many people dyin

They don't show it on the news

So its like it never happens

Kids know more than the older generation

But they'll never know

Cause they refuse to listen

I feel like I'm the only one that's havin my say

In this land of the free and home of the brave
