It's not what I wanted, so why?

You left me all alone to cry.

We can't take back words so clear

I just want to hold you near.



I need you, I can't explain

Without you there is lots of pain

It's like I'm walking in a nightmare

So alone. No one around to care.



This nightmare has been here for two nights

I hope everything soon becomes alright

If not, I'll be walking away from bliss

And still going without a good-bye kiss.



If I could just touch your face

Or feel your sweet embrace

Maybe you would understand

I need you, Chet, to hold my hand.
