You told me you loved me just the other day

And now you're leaving

I lie awake at night

Wondering if I did something wrong

As I beg you to stay

You say you must go

I stand there and cry

As my pride and joy is slipping away

I ask for one more chance

But you can't speak

It's as if you want to say something but can't

As I try to choke back the pain

Of my heart and world being shattered

You hold me and say everything is alright

You say you might stay

But there are too many barriers in the way

Your love is all I have to keep me going

You tell me everything is going to be different

I don't want it to be

I just want you

So, please, I'm begging you

Don't break my heart.
