When life tries to break you,

Don't give up, break it.

When life fights you,

Fight back and conquer it.

When life takes a unexpected turn,

Keep pushing forward and work it!

 

When you think you're alone,

You're not I'm here for you.

When you think no one loves you,

Remember I do.

When you think there is nothing left to live for,

Remember the ones who care about you.

 

Put down the blade,

Put down the gun.

You're life is valuable,

You don't have to go by so called "standards".

 

You are amazing and beautiful the way you are.

Don't let anyone tell you different.

Never give up, never give in.

 

Author's Notes/Comments: 

This poem is for all the people who go through so much and believe life isn't worth living. I'm here to tell you it is. I was depressed for a long time and use to cut, I hid my pain behind a smile. In the end its not worth it.I remembered all the people who loved me and cared. It helps. You don't have to go thru alone. There is always someone there for you.
