as she glided across the sand...
making people want her.
she commanded attention,
of all who were near her...
yet ignored them all.
she never would stop,
her ever ending destruction...
breaking many hearts.
the sun glinted off of her
and made her sparkle and shine...
showing off her beauty.
she made one so hungry,
wanting so much from her...
and never leaving satisfied.
how often i visited,
she was always entertaining...
i'd leave feeling wistful.
her breathing made me fall asleep,
peaceful and calm inside...
and i'd wake to her beside me...
listening to her waves
crash against the shore
again and again.
